In 1969, a young, 18-year old, California, hippie, musician entered the U.S. Army in New Orleans...he got orders and eventually wound up in South Viet Nam, where  he lied, cheated, and schemed his way into playing rock n' roll for his entire tour of duty in "The Nam"...

His band wound up being the most popular band in "The Nam" where he made his fellow GIs feel better about being there. In time, He realized why he was there and what his destiny was...

This story is like no other... it is full of crazy and unpredictable tales of the year-long journey...
